Scanners are only a part of the picture. Estel operates in two locations with 140 state of the art workstations, 250 employees, five servers and two terabytes of fully mirrored production storage capacity.
Our network is all fibre and 1000T/100T connected with a massive two terabytes of online storage to ensure we never run out of storage space for any clients project. Project files are fully mirrored within our system for full disaster recovery.
We work on a combination of 17" and 19" monitors with proofing workstations in dual monitor configuration. This small investment in equipment gives a quantum leap in productivity.
Servers & Storage: Three primary production servers, dual Xeon550MHz servers 2Gbyte RAM with a combined storage capacity of 950Gbyte (production cache).
Archive Storage: Self-replicating IGP Repository with 1.20 Terabtye online storage.
Workstations: 140 workstations 700MHz P3 or better with 17" monitors.
Network: 100T/1000T with Cisco Catalyst Switcher
Internet: 256kbps direct to the Internet
Power Backup: 2x60kVA UPSs (Liebert), 250kVA stand-by Generator (Cummins)

Pricing
Estel is competitive on pricing - because we have virtually eliminated fall-back and rework. The production effort goes into providing a better output in the first production pass. This means we consistently deliver higher quality at the same price or less than companies carrying out similar work.
With the IGP Production Workbench it is feasible to do 100% QC on high volume documentation jobs - so we do.
